Prom

Prom is a 2011 WALT DISNEY PICTURES tween comedy film about seniors in high school preparing for the biggest night of their lives, or so they think.

The film stars Aimee Teegarden, Thomas McDonell, Nicholas Braun, Dean Norris, Danielle Campbell, Cameron Monaghan, Christine Elise, Raini Rodriguez, Yin Chang, Nolan Sotillo, Jared Kusnitz, DeVaughn Nixon, and Jere Burns.

The film is produced by WALT DISNEY PICTURES and RICKSHAW PRODUCTIONS.

It is directed by Joe Nussbaum.

Ummm……well……short and to the point……this movie was extremely bad.  It was one giant cliche!!!  Within about 5 minutes, Craig and I had pretty much called out the entire film.  Leave it to DISNEY to just make a walking cliche of a movie.  What’s worse is that high school was nothing like it is in the movie, at least for me.

All of the acting was horrible and none of the actors were right for their parts.  A weird part of the movie was that everyone had very odd features.  It wasn’t that they were ugly…it was just weird.

Honestly, I don’t really know what to say about this movie.  It was kind of a LONG BLUR in my memory.  All I really remember was that it felt extremely long and I couldn’t have been happier to leave.  None of the characters are worth remembering and there is absolutely no one to relate to.

As a side note, I think it’s funny to make a high school movie have your main cast be a group of 20 somethings.  Hell, even the “goth/puck/whatever she was trying to be” girl has played 18-year-old’s for about the last 20 years!!!

Please just do yourself a favor and avoid this movie at all costs!!!
